Mincemeat Cookies

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. mincemeat cookies
  2. In large mixer bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and beat well.
  4. Stir together dry ingredients and gradually add shortening to mixture.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Stir in mincemeat.
  7. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets.
  8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Let cool.
  10. Frost if desired.

Tip: For a more cake-like cookie, substitute 1-1/3 cups (one half 27 oz. jar) None Such® Ready-To-Use Mincemeat (Classic Original or Brandy & Rum) for condensed mincemeat.
